About Aero Works
Aero Works is an FAA certified Part 145 repair station CRS#1LYR437D. The founders and principal mechanics are aircraft owners, pilots, and FAA certificated A&P mechanics with FAA designated Inspection Authorizations. We are factory trained on Cirrus and Diamond Aircraft, Continental Motors, Thielert/Technify Motors, and Austro Engines.
CARRIE FERGUSON: Co-Founder
Carrie Ferguson has over 20 years of experience in General Aviation as a pilot and mechanic. She is a graduate of San Jose State University with a B.S. in Aviation Operations/Maintenance Management. She has also worked for the NASA Aviation Safety Reporting System as a Research Scientist and Database Specialist.
KEVIN PINGER: Co-Founder
Kevin Pinger has over 30 years of aviation experience as a pilot and aircraft mechanic for Part 91, 121, and 135 Operations. A graduate of Northrop University with a B.S. in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, he has spent much of his life working on General Aviation aircraft. He has also worked as a flight line and field services mechanic for McDonnell Douglas and as an Inspector and Repair Station Manager for General Electric on wing support.
Palo Alto Municipal Airport History
The Palo Alto Municipal Airport has been serving the community at the current location since the 1930s. Centrally located in the Silicon Valley, it offers airborne support services for Stanford Hospital, businesses, and coastal communities. Services range from personal and passenger travel, business, flight training, aircraft sales and maintenance, aerospace innovation, and community emergency support needs. Aero Works is proud to be a part of the airport’s legacy, now… and into the future.
